The Value Brake Caging Bolt is sold in 10-packs and has an 18mm hex. Two details matter before you order: whether the bolt matches the chamber manufacturer's requirements, and how many packs you need.
Does an 18mm hex establish fit?
No. The hex size identifies the socket size for this product; it does not establish spring brake chamber compatibility. Check the chamber manufacturer's specified caging tool, required bolt dimensions and service procedure before use.
Use an 18mm socket for this product. Do not choose a caging bolt solely because it is described for trucks, trailers or buses. The chamber requirements are the deciding information. Contact us if you need clarification about the specifications in this listing.
This is an ordering and compatibility-check guide. Follow the chamber manufacturer's service procedure for the work itself.
Is the price for one bolt or one pack?
The listed price is per 10-pack. Quantity counts packs:
- Quantity 1 means one pack containing 10 bolts.
- Quantity 2 means two packs containing 20 bolts.
- Quantity 5 means five packs containing 50 bolts.
The product page, cart and checkout show the pack quantity and total bolt count. Stock is also counted in packs. Use the live listing for the current number of packs available.
How are discounts counted?
Volume pricing is based on the number of packs selected. Review the current pack-price table on the bolt product page. The shop applies the applicable quantity price automatically.
Cable quantities are different: Standard and XL cables are counted as cables, with their own minimums and increments. Cable cutters are sold individually.
